Open Profile from the avatar menu in the header (or go to /user/profile).
The left rail shows your initials, full name, and Role (job title). On desktop you can collapse this rail to an icon-only mini-rail (avatar in the header, Profile icon in the list). Hover or keyboard-focus an item to see its label in a tooltip. Collapse state is saved in your browser.
The main panel lets you edit:
- First name and Last name (required)
- Role (optional free text — this is not your organization membership role)
Changes are saved with Save changes and apply immediately to the header avatar and side rail.
Profile photo
Use Upload photo or Change photo to pick a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file (up to 5 MB). The server normalizes it to a square WebP thumbnail. When a photo is set, it appears in the profile view, header menu, and side rail without reloading the page.
Use Remove photo to delete the image and return to initials from your name (email fallback when no name is set).
If the file type or size is invalid, the form shows an error and the control stays usable.
